Adaptive Shield

Adaptive Shield is a security monitoring and SaaS to-SaaS controlling platform. 

More detailed documentation is on its way. In the meantime, see the available steps and template below. 

Get your Adaptive Shield API key

Perform these steps in your Adaptive Shield console.

1. Go to Dashboard, and open User settings.
2. Navigate to the API section.
   1. Copy the Account ID.
   2. Click Generate new key and name it Torq or something related.
   3. Copy the generated API key.

Create an Adaptive Shield steps integration in Torq

The steps integration stores your Adaptive Shield API information. You'll select the integration when using Adaptive Shield steps.

1. Go to the Integrations page, locate and click the Adaptive Shield steps card.
2.  Click Add and configure the integration.
   1. Enter a meaningful name for the integration.
   2. Enter your Adaptive Shield API key.
   3. Enter your Adaptive Shield Account ID.
   4. Click Save.
3. Click Add to finish creating the integration.

Create a Torq alert from Adaptive Shield

First, you'll create an Adaptive Shield trigger integration in Torq, which will generate a unique endpoint URL in Torq. This endpoint is where outside events will be sent to Torq from Adaptive Shield. Next, you'll create an alert in Adaptive Shield. One of the configuration items you'll need is the Torq URL.

1. Go to Integrations > Triggers, locate and click the Adaptive Shield card.
2. Click Add.
3. Enter a unique and meaningful name.
4. Copy the webhook that Torq generated for you.
5. Go to your Adaptive Shield settings > Alerts.
6. Click Add New Alert channel.
7. Click the Torq icon.
8. Give your alert a meaningful and unique alias.
9. Paste the webhook from your Torq integration.
10. Click Test to ensure that your alert integration works.
11. Click Finish to finalize.

List security checks

Choose the integration you created earlier. The step will return a list of security checks and their statuses.

List integrations

Get single security check

In SECURITY_CHECK_ID, select the check you would like by inserting {{$.list_security_checks.api_object.data.0.id}} but replace the 0 with the number of the check you are isolating.

List alerts

Get a list of alerts from a certain date until a different date. Use either our date & time utilities to calculate these times or, for example, the create date of a user or integration.
