Users who belong to multiple workspaces with case management can oversee and manage cases across all their workspaces through a consolidated view, eliminating the need to switch between workspaces to handle cases of each workspace individually.
To view the cases from all your workspaces, go to the Cases page on any workspace and toggle to All workspaces at the top. You can perform any action you would be able to perform in the source workspace of each specific case. Changes made to a case in the All workspaces view are also reflected in the source workspace, and vice-versa.
Note
- If you don't have the option to toggle to All workspaces in your current workspace and would like to enable it, contact Torq support.
- Users can only view cases from workspaces they are members of and take actions based on their roles within each workspace.
The name of the case source workspace, where the case was created, is added to the case. You can use the Workspace filter to display cases from specific workspaces.
Important
- The case and everything related to it, including observables, workflow executions, and more, exist only in the source workspace.
- Only workflows from the source workspace of the case can be run from within the case.
- When creating a new case in the All workspaces view, you must specify the workspace where the case should be created.
The All workspaces view presents states from all workspaces, consolidating those with the same ID.
