Create a Jira step integration
- Go to Integrations > Steps > Jira
- Click Add
- Give your integration a unique and meaningful name.
- Click Add
- On the request screen, click Accept to allow Torq access to your Atlassian account.
Create a Jira trigger in Torq

You must be an Atlassian Admin in order to create a webhook in Jira
- Go to Integrations > Triggers > Jira Cloud.
- Click Add.
- Give the integration a unique and meaningful name.
- Copy the generated webhook.
- Go to the Jira administration > System > Advanced > Webhooks
- Click Create a webhook
- Give the webhook a unique and meaningful name.
- In the URL parameter, paste the webhook generated earlier.
- Select the events you want to subscribe to. When these events occur, a request will be sent to the Torq webhook. You can trigger workflows based on some or all of these events.
- Click Create.
