Article Summary

Snyk is a developer security platform. Integrating directly into development tools, workflows, and automation pipelines, Snyk makes it easy for teams to find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and infrastructure as code.

The Snyk integration in Torq uses OAuth 2.0 to authorize the integration. In the following steps, you'll create a Snyk integration in Torq and then follow instructions to grant access to the Torq app.

⚠️ Deprecated
The Snyk integration that used API keys to authorize the integration is now deprecated. Use this integration instead.

Create a Snyk steps integration in Torq

  1. Log in to Torq.
  2. Go to the Integrations page and locate the Snyk card under Steps.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Give the integration a meaningful name and click Add. You'll be redirected to log in to Snyk.
  5. After you log in to Snyk, you'll be prompted to grant Torq access. Click Grant app access.
  6. After you grant access, you'll be redirected back to Torq and the integration you created will appear in the table.

Use Snyk steps

Add a Snyk step to the designer, select the Snyk steps integration you created earlier and provide the organization ID if required.

For example, you can list the projects that were imported to Snyk and get information such as:

  • The details of the user who imported the project to Snyk.
  • When was the project last tested by Snyk.
  • The severity of the issues found.
