Important
To enable cross-workspace resource sharing for your organization, contact Torq support.
Cross-workspace sharing enables you to share organizational resources, such as integrations, workflows, and variables, while maintaining data segmentation between workspaces.
Increase efficiency, streamline collaboration and scaling, and reduce maintenance by sharing resources across workspaces. These are the resources you can share with other workspaces:
The sharing workspace is the source workspace, and the workspace the resource is shared with is the destination workspace.
Important to know
Resources can only be shared across workspaces within the same organization.
Resources are viewable and usable within the workspaces they are shared with, but modifications are only permitted in the source workspace.
To share resources with other workspaces, the user must have a role that includes the resource.share scope. If the user sharing the resource is also an Owner in the destination workspace, the share request will be accepted automatically.
Share resources automatically
Share resources automatically as part of your workflows by using the available steps:
Create Share Request
Accept Share Request
Deny Share Request
List Share Requests
Remove <resource type> Sharing (e.g., Remove Workflow Sharing)
Use the Share request created system event to trigger a workflow upon a request to share a resource with the workspace.
