Britive is a platform for automating cloud identity management across applications.
Get your Britive API token
You'll need the token when you create a Britive integration in Torq. This will enable you to interact with the Britive API directly from workflows.
- Go to your Britive portal: <company-name>.britive-app.com
- Click the correct profile.
- Click Admin.
- Click the Security card.
- Click the Create tokenbutton.
- Enter a meaningful name for the token, such as Torq.
- Select how long the token will be valid for.
- Click Create token.
- Click Copy to copy the token. It's important to save this immediately, you won't see it again.
- Click OK.
Create a Britive integration in Torq
Perform these steps in Torq.
- Go to the Integrations page.
- Locate and click the Britive card and click Add.
- Enter a meaningful name for the integration.
- Enter the URL of your Britive instance, including https, for example, https://<your-company>.britive-app.com.
- Enter the Britive API token that you created earlier.
- Click Add.
Test the integration
To test the integration, you'll create a workflow, add at least one List command, for example, List apps, and verify that it returns the expected output.
- Go to Workflows and click Create Workflow.
- Enter a meaningful name for the workflow, such as Britive steps test.
- Select the On-demand trigger option and click Create Workflow.
- In the Steps library search for Britive.
- Double-click a list step to add to the designer.
- The Integration field should be populated with the integration you created early. If this is not the case, select it from the Integrations drop-down menu.
- Run the step and verify that the expected output is returned.
