Add attachments to cases to provide additional information or context, such as screenshots, source code, etc.
Attachments can be managed automatically by using the available steps:
- Add attachment to case
- Get attachment download link
- List case attachments
- Remove attachment from case
Add an attachment
Use the Add attachment to case step to add an attachment during a workflow execution. Select an input type:
- Raw data: provide raw data from the workflow context to be saved as a file attachment of the specified case.
- File: provide the file content encrypted in base64 format or a file URL to add as an attachment of the specified case.

Provide a file name for the attachment for easy reference.
You also have the option to upload a file from your computer and add it as an attachment to a case from the case timeline:

Access an attachment
Once an attachment was added to a case, you can access its content in two ways:
- Use the Get attachment download link step.
- Download the file manually from the Cases portal.
